Obasempire reports that Yul Edochie, a renowned figure in Nigeria’s Nollywood industry, has refuted claims of marital ties with fellow actress Judy Austin.

The former spouse of May Edochie dismissed assertions of a legal union between him and Judy, highlighting that their connection revolved solely around skit-making.
Emeka Ugwuonye, representing May Edochie, disclosed that Yul articulated this stance within his court petition. Allegedly, the court session slated for March 5, 2024, faced postponement, with Yul’s camp allegedly taking undue credit, prompting clarification from Ugwuonye.
In an Instagram video, Mr. Ugwuonye emphasized that May’s legal position regarding adultery between Yul Edochie and Judy Austin is fortified by the acknowledgment of their shared parenthood, constituting compelling evidence against them.
He said:
“May doesn’t really have much to worry about at this point. On the main issue of divorce for adultery, May doesn’t have much to prove anymore because Mr Yul Edochie himself admits that he and Judy produced a baby. They denied being married, that’s alright, but they admitted they had a baby. If you had a baby, then adultery has been admitted by Mr Yul Edochie and that’s the main issue.”
